Floating Clock Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Floating Clock (the “App”) handles information when you use its floating clocks, timers, stopwatches, advertising, and in-app purchase features.

1. Information stored on your device

Clock, timer, stopwatch, interval-stage, appearance, and position settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives these configurations. You can delete them in the App, clear the App's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App.

2. Advertising

The free version uses Google AdMob to load and display advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share approximate location inferred from an IP address, App interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance.

Google handles this information under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information for advertising.

3. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play and managed in the App through RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process purchase history, product identifiers, transaction status and dates, entitlement status, and device or App user identifiers. This information is required to unlock paid features, restore purchases, prevent purchase fraud, and provide purchase analytics. The App does not receive or store your payment card or bank account details.

See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for more information.

4. Permissions

The App uses Android's “display over other apps” permission to show floating clocks and timers. It may also use foreground-service and notification permissions to keep active floating timers reliable and notify you when a timer finishes. These permissions do not give us access to the content of other apps.

5. Feedback

If you choose to contact us, your email app sends the message and any information you include. We use it only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue. Sending feedback is optional; the App does not automatically attach your files, photos, or message history.

6. Data security and retention

Data sent to the services described above is encrypted in transit. Google and RevenueCat retain data according to their respective policies and legal obligations. Locally stored App settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear App storage, or uninstall the App.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a feedback message, contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version and its update date will be available on this page.
